All your questions about prepasted wallpaper answered here

What is Prepasted Wallpaper? Prepasted wallpaper from Worship Walls features a layer of dry adhesive on the back, activated simply by water. This innovation eliminates the mess and guesswork of applying paste, offering a straightforward and tidy installation process. How Easy is it to Install Prepasted Wallpaper? Absolutely! Prepasted wallpaper is designed for ease of installation. Watch our "How To Hang Prepasted Wallpaper" video for step-by-step guidance. The wallpaper can be repositioned for a few minutes after application, making pattern alignment a breeze. There’s no need for additional paste, thanks to the pre-applied adhesive.

Can Prepasted Wallpaper Be Easily Removed? Yes, our prepasted wallpaper is designed for easy removal, especially when applied over suitable paint or primer that’s fully cured (at least 21 days old). Proper preparation ensures that the wallpaper can be removed without damaging the underlying wall.

Is Wetting Prepasted Wallpaper Necessary? Indeed, activating the adhesive on our prepasted wallpaper requires wetting. Simply immerse or spray the wallpaper with water to activate the dry paste on its back.

What’s the Soaking Time for Prepasted Wallpaper? Immerse each rolled-up panel, paste side out, in lukewarm water for 15-30 seconds. Alternatively, you can spray the wallpaper's back on a table and let it "book" for 5 minutes to relax.

Does Prepasted Wallpaper Expand When Wet? Yes, each 18-inch-wide panel of our prepasted wallpaper will expand by 1/8 inch in width when wet, without any height expansion.

Do I Need Additional Paste for Prepasted Wallpaper? While our prepasted wallpaper comes with its own adhesive, you might consider extra paste for high-traffic areas or ceiling applications. Just apply a thin layer of paste to these areas before hanging the wallpaper as usual.

Can I Install This Wallpaper Myself? Certainly! Our prepasted wallpaper is designed for simple, solo installation. Our narrow panels and instructional video make the process easy to follow.

What Tools Will I Need for Installation? You’ll need water (in a bin or spray bottle), a sponge smoother (preferably over a plastic one to avoid squeezing out paste), and standard wallpapering tools like a level, tape measure, exacto knife, pencil, straight edge or putty knife, scissors, a clean cloth, sandpaper, and a ladder.

Where Should I Start Wallpapering? For a feature wall, start at either corner. For full-room application, begin next to a door to minimize pattern mismatch at the seam.

From Top or Bottom: Where to Begin Hanging? Always start at the top, allowing extra material to trim at both the ceiling and baseboard. Ensure each panel is level and use a sponge smoother to eliminate bubbles, trimming excess with a wet exacto knife.

Is a Water Tray Needed for Installation? A large bin or a spray bottle is more practical than a water tray, reducing the chance of spills and accommodating the wallpaper's width.

Should I Cut the Wallpaper Wet or Dry? Trim the wallpaper while it’s still wet on the wall to ensure clean edges. Use a fresh blade after every two panels to avoid tearing the wet paper.

Will Bubbles in the Wallpaper Disappear? Most large air bubbles can be smoothed out during installation. Any remaining small bubbles typically vanish as the wallpaper dries over the next 24-48 hours.

Is Prepasted Wallpaper Suitable for Bathrooms? Yes, our prepasted wallpaper is ideal for bathrooms. It’s designed to be mold and mildew resistant, effectively managing moisture without trapping it. Ensure direct contact with water is avoided by using a backsplash in wet areas.

Is This Wallpaper Safe for Nurseries? Absolutely. Our water-activated wallpaper is free from PVC, vinyl, formaldehyde, chlorine, lead, and phthalates. It's LEED certified and meets indoor air quality standards, ensuring a safe environment for the little ones.

Why Might Prepasted Wallpaper Not Stick? Proper wall preparation is key. Our wallpaper adheres best to surfaces that are clean, primed, painted, and fully cured. It’s crucial to remove any dust, grease, or stains for optimal adherence.
