To elevate the mural's intricacy, we incorporated building footprints, offering patrons a detailed and engaging view of Medford's unique urban layout. This layer not only enriched the mural's visual depth but also fostered a connection between the cafe and its urban surroundings, turning the wall into a conversation piece about the local community.

The project began with the intention of using a neutral color palette, but as the vision for the space evolved, so too did our color choices. The final design featured two contrasting shades of blue, creating a vibrant backdrop that mirrored the dynamic atmosphere of the cafe. An accent color of orange was chosen for the roads, adding warmth and complementing the existing room decor.

This bold color scheme transformed the mural into an eye-catching feature that enhanced the overall ambiance of the cafe, making it a place where the community could gather and feel truly connected to the heart of Medford.
